Fabric Softener – Fragrance Retention Trial (Microcaps)
Failed
This research studies fragrance retention of a fabric softener using micro-encapsulated fragrance technology. The objective is to maintain scent after drying and during wear.
Method: Fabric samples were treated in a rinse cycle, dried, and evaluated at 0h/24h/72h. Retention scoring was collected via internal sensory panel.
Conclusion: Initial fragrance impact is good, but retention drops significantly after 24h. Further formulation work required.
